Ride For Reading’s mission is to promote literacy and healthy living through the distribution of books via bicycle to children from low-income neighborhoods. From Walk/Bike Nashville :
Our friends over at The Stone Fox have graciously opened their doors for an early evening social for active transportation enthusiasts.
We’ll give a brief presentation of what’s on the radar for walking and biking in Nashville as well as ways for you to get involved, provide feedback, or help advocate for improved bicycle and pedestrian facilities.
You’ll also get a chance to hear what we have in the works at Walk/Bike, including an exciting announcement about new programming and our updated strategic plan.
And of course, this event will be a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other cyclists and pedestrians while enjoying the Stone Fox’s renowned food and drink.
Come on over! The Stone Fox is conveniently located just blocks away from the Music City Bikeway at 712 51st Ave North in The Nations. Additional bicycle parking will be available for the event.
